Shakti Singh Champawat

Nineteen years strategising, managing and executing complex real estate, corporate and commercial transactions, alongside litigation across diverse areas of dispute resolution, including arbitration. He began his career in Mumbai with a full-service law firm before moving to Pune, where he led the in-house legal team for a real estate developer. He acts for realtors, financial institutions, corporates and high-net-worth individuals on diligence, documentation for acquisition, sale, leasing and financing, as well as litigation.

Varun Sutawane

Over seventeen years in litigation, arbitration, real estate laws and corporate legal advisory. He started in Pune with Mumbai-based full-service firms and spent more than a decade representing multinational corporations and Fortune 500 companies in complex civil and commercial disputes, arbitrations, banking and recovery matters and real estate litigation — before Civil and Criminal Courts, Arbitral Tribunals, the National Green Tribunal, the Debts Recovery Tribunal and Consumer Commissions. He later spent close to five years in-house with developers, including a listed Mumbai developer.

Jay Kakani

Over half a decade in corporate lending, structured finance, real estate finance and loan syndication, with extensive experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating lending documentation and advising on corporate due diligence. Most recently a Senior Legal Manager with the wholesale banking group at one of India's top private banks, advising on lending transactions across global clients, large corporates, financial sponsors and NBFC portfolios — rupee term loans, working capital facilities and supply chain financing. Earlier, with the banking and finance team at a full-service Mumbai firm, he worked on real estate financing and investment transactions for Indian and overseas banks, NBFCs and funds.
